Just ask any kid: One of the best ways to paint is with your fingers! Grab any kind of paint and little crafter hands to start working on these fingerprint crafts for kids. All of them are lots of fun and simple. When you're all finished, display them in your home. Have your kids use their little fingerprints to craft these pretty poppy flowers from Crafty Morning.
To make the Thumbprint Sun: paint or color a yellow circle at the top of the page. Paint a green stem. Use a red thumbprint for the thumbrint ladybug and a yellow thumbprint for the thumbprint bee. Draw in details when dry. Follow their creative journey over on the blog titled Artsy Momma.

Poppies are one of my favorite flowers so I thought it'd be fun to try to make them out of thumbprints! You can also make these fingerprint poppies for a Spring art project! Start by having your kids dip their thumbs into red paint and making a circle shape with their prints. Doing thumbprints per poppy looks best! After the red paint has dried some, have them dip their pointer finger in black paint and dab the middle of each flower.
